Upgraded from MySQL 5.5 to MariaDB 10.0

If you use old pre-4.1-style MySQL passwords, change it to minimum 8 characters. 12-18 characters recommended.

To change your MySQL Database password:
cPanel > MySQL Databases
Current Users > Change Password

And update the applications to utilize them
e.g.
edit wp-config.php file for WordPress

Upgrading to very NEW top-of-the-line Dual Quad Core Xeon

As you may know, PHP4 was ended on Dec 31st, 2007. EOS-1 Network will be upgrading your PHP4 to PHP5. We’ll provide both PHP4 and PHP5 environments for about one month.(Actually we’ll provide both PHP4 and PHP5 environments as long as cPanel does. Please note that this may end very soon..) So please use and test PHP5 with your PHP scripts as soon as possible.

After upgrading to PHP5:
Default: PHP5

If you would like to switch back to PHP4:
Save one line below to .htaccess file and put it to /home/UserName/public_html/.htaccess
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php4 .php

Switch back to PHP5:
Simply delete the .htaccess file.
